Athletes Village, East London

A John Sisk & Son project in Stratford which formed part of the London 2012 Olympics. In Phase One, we completed 401 apartments across two separate blocks, N09 and N10, which provided accommodation for the athletes during the Games.

Once the Olympics had finished, Phase 2 involved alterations and fit-out to all 401 apartments to create mixed tenure homes, complete with ground floor retail space.

Our scope of works included: Hadley Group SFS Installation & Kingspan Insulation, British Gypsum Metal Stud Partition Systems & Wall Linings, Suspended Plasterboard & Acoustic Ceiling Systems with a Plastered finish and Sand & Cement Screed.

The overall cost of the project totaled £77 million and was completed in January 2012.
